Brave Brand Custodians face the SLIM Brand Excellence challenge…..
The competitiveness of SLIM Brand Excellence is intensifying year on year. You’ve got to be brave and confident to face this challenging task. But mind you all Marketers, this is a free independent platform created by the National body for Marketers in Srilanka to evaluate your performance and reward the best.
SLIM Brand Excellence is growing strength to strength .There is a 25% growth in the number of entries for this year awards, compared to last year’s number. This gives an indication that the changes we did to the criteria with an objective of uplifting the bar of the awards, under the guidance of our own Marketing Guru Dr.Uditha Liyanage, was very well received by the Marketing Fraternity.
These changes were proposed by the veterans of the industry and the participants of the awards, some years ago, but were never adhered to. But this year this challenge was achieved successfully, mainly due to the commitment of this year’s dynamic organizing committee.
Brand Excellence is a result of a huge team effort. The contributors have been enormous. Starting from the Organizing committee, SLIM Council/EXCO, Sponsors, Service providers, Judges and support staff from SLIM, have put together their heart and soul in creating an event of this caliber. A BIG Thank you to all of you. You can be proud of your self for being a HUGE part of this successful national event.
This is not the end, but just the beginning of a new era of Marketing. We have planned to organize a series of work shops, to educate “How to win Gold at SLIM Brand Excellence”; to all you participants who participated this time and those who intend to participate in the future. We believe that it is our duty as the National Body, to raise the standards of our industry and assist to create global Srialankan Brands. Make best use of this brilliant opportunity, simply because this is a customized offer given by SLIM for all you dedicated Marketers out there.
