Ravi has over 20 years of experience in the FMCG sector covering Home, Personal Care, Foods and Beverage categories. He has started his carrier at Unilever Sri Lanka and held several senior positions in both customer management and marketing. He was one of the key facilitators of the "enterprise culture" program across management layers of Unilever Sri Lanka. Has received special training on customer management from Astridge University UK.
He was the Director Sales at Coca Cola Sri Lanka operation and had the unique opportunity of working with the South African Coca Cola team that developed the strategic plan for Coca Cola Port Elizabeth division in South Africa. Ravi led the Coca Cola sales team to win the "Everest challenge trophy" beating 14 countries in African and Asian regions.
Currently Ravi is the CEO (Sales & Marketing) at Malibans and is part of the strategic team that turnaround both Biscuit and Milk business to record +20% sales growth.
Presently he is the only Sri Lankan in the Glendenning consultancy firm in the UK. Ravi has trained customer management teams of Unilever Malaysia, British Petroleum in India and Unilever Bangladesh.
Ravi is a leading MBA /CIM lecturer and currently reading for his PHD at the University of Colombo on Psychology and Marketing.
