Bhuwan has more than Fifteen years of Market Research, Advertising & Marketing Experience. He has worked in India and South Asia in the FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Durables , Telecom and IT domains. He has also worked with BBDO Advertising and DHL Express Service. He has a vast knowledge base in Retail research along with various other Quantitative and Qualitative research techniques across industries. Bhuwan has spent more than four years of his work life in Sri Lanka, working very closely with various organizations.
In his current position he heads the premier market research powerhouse “The Nielsen Company” in Sri Lanka as Managing Director. The Nielsen Company is involved in Retail, Media and Customized research solutions for corporates, government, various media houses and multilateral agencies in Sri Lanka. Globally, The Nielsen Company is the leading provider of information, insight, analysis and advice about consumers and users of various products and services.
Bhuwan has been featured in various publications including The Times of India, Business Standard, The Economic Times, Business World and other business publications. He has also lectured at some of the premier management schools in India, such as Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and Faculty of Management Science, University of Delhi.
He holds a post graduate degree in Marketing Management along with Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and a MSc in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Delhi.
