Bhuwan B. Singh, has more than fifteen years of Market
Research, Advertising & Marketing Experience. He
has worked in India and South Asia in FMCG, pharmaceuticals,
consumer durables, telecom and IT domains. He has also
worked with BBDO Advertising, one of the top advertising
agencies in the world and DHL Express Service, one of
the world’s leading logistics companies. He has
a vast knowledge base in retail research along with
various other quantitative and qualitative research
techniques across industries. Bhuwan has spent more
than four years of his professional life in Sri Lanka,
working very closely with various organizations.
In his current position he heads the premier market
research powerhouse “the Nielsen Company, in Sri
Lanka as Managing Director. The Nielsen Company is involved
in retail, media and customised research solutions for
corporate, government, various media houses and multilateral
agencies in Sri Lanka. Globally, the Nielsen Company
is the leading provider of information, insight, analysis
and advice about consumers of various products and services.
Bhuwan has been featured in various publications including
The Times of India, Business Standard, The Economic
Times, Business World and other business publications.
He has also lectured at some of the premier management
schools in India, such as the Indian Institute of Foreign
Trade and the Faculty of Management Science, University
of Delhi.
He holds a postgraduate degree in Marketing Management
along with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics
and an MSc, in Statistics and Operations Research from
the University of Delhi.
