Wasantha is the current Chairman of Global Tech Services (Pvt) Ltd, and the Managing Director of Airport Travels (Pvt) Ltd. Mr. Mallikarchchi is the former Secretary General of the Asia Marketing Federation (AMF) and the Past President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing and currently the President of AMF – CPM Sri Lanka Association (ACSA). He is a Council Member of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industries of Sri Lanka (FCCISL), and the centre member of the Organization of Professional Association.
Mr. Mallikarachchi is a SLIM Diplomate (Dip.M), a Certified Professional Marketer in Asia Pacific (CPM – Asia Pacific), a Post-Graduate Diploma holder in Management (PGDM) and is reading for his MBA in Buckinghamshire University UK. He is also a partly qualified Accountant of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in UK.(CIMA). Mr. Mallikarachchi is a full member of SLIM, member of AMF and a Fellow Member of the Australian Sales and Marketing Association (FASMA).
Mr. Mallikarachchi was the Chairman of SLIM Brand Excellence 2003, and the Advisor to the Brand Excellence Committee in 2004, 2005 & 2006.
